LaNaval Shipyard in Spain signed a contract to design and build a new ferry for the Dutch company TESO, located in the north Netherlands. The ferry, which will be named Texelstroom, is a new generation vessel for the transportation of up to 1,750 people and 350 vehicles. Doors for Scandlines
The completion of the two new vessels, M/V Berlin and M/V Copenhagen is progressing according to plan. It is expected that the two new passenger ferries will be put into operation on the Rostock-Gedser route in the second half of 2015. Edda Accommodation, operated by Østensjø Rederi, has placed an order for a new monohull accommodation vessel plus one optional vessel at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. By placing this order, Edda Accommodation is expanding the commercial and technical success of its existing accommodation vessel, Edda Fides.
