Salt Spray Test

The salt spray test is a standardized and popular corrosion test method, used to check corrosion resistance of materials and surface coatings. Usually, the materials to be tested are metallic and finished with a surface coating which is intended to provide a degree of corrosion protection to the underlying metal. Aluflam Marine performed a test in December on the new parts after development process. One piece of new aluminium alloy profile and several other accessories were tested. MS Thomson Dream

MS Thomson Dream is a cruise ship owned by TUI UK Ltd. and operated under charter by Thomson Cruises. She was built in 1986 at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, West Germany as MS Homeric for Home Lines. Since April 2010 she left the fleet of Costa Cruises on a ten-year charter to Thomson Cruises, where she is the last new build for Home Lines to remain in active service. Grand Canyon III

Aluflam Marine products are protecting the crew memebers now also on Grang Canyon III. The Grand Canyon series are designed to perform a broad range of subsea operations, with DP3-class station keeping for work in severe weather conditions. Grand Canyon features a 250 t heave compensated crane, facilities to launch up to five ROVs simultaneously, and a below-deck carousel lay system for installation of power cables, umbilicals, or tubular products.
