The completion of the two new vessels, M/V Berlin and M/V Copenhagen is progressing according to plan.

It is expected that the two new passenger ferries will be put into operation on the Rostock-Gedser route in the second half of 2015. The vessels are beginning to resemble what they are supposed to be − two modern commercial vessels with lots of light, air and space.

During the last months, the vessels have undergone a thorough review to reduce their topside weight; the new bridge has recently been installed on the first vessel, M/V Berlin. M/V Copenhagen is also in the final phase, during which Aluflam Marine fire doors will be installed.

All doors supplied are A60 class – automatic and as light as possible for glass fire doors. Pictures of the doors coming soon…
